Senior Property Manager

Setting/Hours: 100% in Office| Full-time

Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Commercial Real Estate team. 

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of Class A office, retail, flex office / warehouse, and lite industrial buildings, ensuring exceptional operational performance, tenant satisfaction, and financial results. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong customer-service focus, deep knowledge of Class A office operations, and proven experience managing complex commercial assets.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily operations across Class A office, retail, flex office/warehouse, and light industrial properties to ensure high standards for maintenance, building systems, and overall appearance

  • Manage annual operating and capital budgets, including financial reporting, expense control, rent collection, and operational forecasting

  • Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate CAM and tax reconciliation processes

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, delivering exceptional service and supporting tenant satisfaction and retention initiatives

  • Conduct tenant meetings, surveys, and engagement events to foster strong tenant relationships and enhance occupancy retention

  • Create and maintain digital communications and marketing materials to support leasing activity and tenant engagement efforts

  • Collaborate with leasing teams on property tours, lease renewals, expansions, and onboarding of new tenants

  • Supervise, mentor, and support on-site operational and engineering staff to ensure efficient property management operations

  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee service contracts including janitorial, security, engineering, parking, and maintenance providers

  • Lead capital improvement projects, tenant buildouts, and facility upgrades from planning through execution and completion

  • Ensure compliance with lease agreements, safety standards, building codes, and sustainability initiatives including LEED, WELL, and ENERGY STAR standards

  • Coordinate emergency preparedness efforts, incident response procedures, and risk management activities across assigned properties

  • Support additional operational, administrative, and property management responsibilities as needed to ensure successful building operations

Qualifications:


  • 5–7+ years of commercial property management experience within commercial real estate environments

  • Experience managing Class A office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use properties preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field preferred

  • Professional certifications such as CPM, RPA, or similar industry designations strongly preferred

  • Ohio Sales Agent License preferred

  • Strong knowledge of building operations, lease administration, tenant relations, and Class A service standards

  • Proven experience managing operating budgets, financial reporting, CAM reconciliations, and capital improvement projects

  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and vendors in a fast-paced property management environment

  • Experience overseeing tenant improvements, maintenance operations, and vendor performance management

  • Strong understanding of compliance, safety regulations, and property operations best practices

  • Proficiency with property management software platforms, including MRI and Yardi preferred

  • Highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities
