Senior Proposal Manager – Federal IT
Hybrid Schedule: Mondays & Fridays remoteOverviewNationwide IT Services is seeking a strategic, detail-driven Senior Proposal Manager to lead high-impact federal proposals from capture through submission. Based in Fairfax, VA, this role is ideal for a proven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can turn winning strategies into compliant, compelling submissions.
Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end proposal management across multiple, concurrent efforts
- Translate win strategies into clear, compliant, and high-quality proposals
- Develop and manage schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices
- Drive storyboards, color team reviews, and solution sessions
- Oversee technical, management, staffing, and past performance volumes
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams (SMEs, writers, graphics, subcontractors)
- Direct proposal production and final delivery with precision and quality
- Ensure on-time submissions in deadline-driven, high-pressure environments
Requirements:- 5+ years of federal proposal management experience (IT/technical focus)
- Strong command of Shipley proposal methodologies
- Experience with IDIQs, GWACs, quick-turn bids, and large pursuits
- Exceptional organization, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to influence, align, and execute across teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (expert-level MS Word)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Preferred- Experience supporting DoW and/or Intelligence Community (IC) proposals
