Immediate need for a talented Senior Propulsion Integration Engineer, Air Vehicles (Micro Turbojet). This is a Full-time opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Costa Mesa, CA (Onsite).Job ID: 26-19197Pay Range: $146,000 - $194,000 per annum. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key ResponsibilitiesCritical member of team for selection and integration of aircraft engines, engine components, and fuel systems on unmanned air vehiclesDesign, fabricate, and test prototype components and control systemsPlan, instrument, and execute tests of aircraft propulsion systemsCoordinate with engine vendors, develop strategic partnerships, and manage development projectsSupport critical hardware demonstrations with customers as neededCritical member of team supporting CAD design for internal aerodynamic loft, surfaces and structuresKey Requirements and Technology Experience8 years of propulsion engineering experience on air vehicles (manned or unmanned)Knowledge of jet engine fundamentalsExperience with use of engine cycle decksExposure to testing of engines or powertrain componentsExperience designing mechanical parts and surface loft (CAD)Understanding of manufacturing methods (machining, sheet metal, composites, 3D printing, injection molding, etc)BS or higher degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical EngineeringEligible to obtain and be able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearanceExperience in NX/TeamcenterHands‑on experience with jet engine testing including test practices, instrumentation, and data processingKnowledge and experience working with Engine Management Systems (EMS), OEM or motorsportExperience procuring parts and working in a machine shop.
