East Hawaii Medical Group is seeking a highly motivated and effective Senior Provider Recruiter to lead physician and advanced practice provider recruitment efforts across a growing multi-specialty medical group affiliated with Hilo Benioff Medical Center, Honoka’a Hospital and Ka’u Hospital on Hawai’I Island. As the sole dedicated provider recruiter for EHMG, this strategic role is responsible for managing a full-cycle recruitment portfolio of 25–30 searches, developing innovative sourcing strategies, building national candidate pipelines, and partnering with provider leadership to attract top clinical talent.
Location: This position allows for a hybrid (remote/in office) work environment, with a requirement for an incumbent living outside of Hilo to work on-site at HBMC at regular intervals throughout the year (approximately four times per year for visits of approximately one week each). Additionally, the incumbent will be required to visit an average of four to six conferences or career fairs per year. Travel expenses will be paid for by the organization, in accordance with our policies.

Hilo is located on the east side of the island of Hawaii, and has a quaint, old-Hawaii, small town atmosphere. Our island offers amazing rainforests, waterfalls and beaches. The hospital staff is community-oriented and strive to provide competent and compassionate care to every patient that enters our doors. The area is home to the Hawaii Community College, University of Hawaii, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, excellent schools and convenient shopping.

Offers of employment will be contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment examination, which includes a drug screen and other regulatory medical requirements such as, but not limited to, a tuberculosis (TB) screen. The cost for drug screening and blood draw for QuantiFERON and Titers, shall be borne by the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation.
