Senior Public Affairs and Outreach Specialist

Amentum is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Public Affairs and Outreach Specialist.

The contractor shall support Government personnel in planning, designing, developing, coordinating, and executing exercises and other related activities requiring facilitation in compliance with national and IC exercise policies and related guidance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Leads support to facilitate the end-to-end lifecycle for all ODNI communications, outreach, and public affairs requirements with internal and external partners and customers, as well as public audiences
• Mentors and trains junior staff
• Utilizes request management tools such as NarQuest to provide swift, high quality customer support for communications requests
• Utilizes the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage all engagement and outreach information
• Assists with development, implementation, and evaluation of engagement strategies
• Provides speech, interview, and event preparation for senior leadership
• Provides direction for external stakeholder relation activities
• Oversees arrangements with external stakeholders for meetings and briefings
• Manages long-term and short-term deadlines in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Researches, develops, and writes bi-weekly workforce messages and weekly newsletters which are subject to change based on mission need
• Assists with planning, managing, and coordinating agency events and activities and provide onsite management of the event, including scheduling, advertising, setting up, and day of event management
• Provides support for media engagements, develops talking points, provides content management support for intranet and internet sites, and demonstrates professional customer service to mission partners

Required Skill and Abilities:

·         Applicable degree(s): BS/BA and 18 years of experience OR MS and 10+ years of experience

·         Proven success with design and development of exercise plan/workshop in coordination with Intelligence Community interest areas.

       

Compensation Details:

130k-190k
