This person will play a key role in leading marketing initiatives, driving proposal strategies, and supporting business development efforts. This position provides strategic direction for proposal development, branding, and corporate marketing initiatives while mentoring junior marketing staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for brand positioning, and the ability to manage complex projects that support Fishbeck's growth and client engagement with a proactive, collaborative approach.Primary FunctionsOversees the strategy and execution of proposal submissions, working closely with technical teams, BD, and marketing staff to develop compelling and compliant content.Conducts and oversees market research to identify target markets, client opportunities, and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.Enforces branding standards to ensure consistency with corporate marketing goals and industry best practices.Serves as a key liaison with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project timelines, messaging, and deliverables.Crafts compelling marketing materials, including proposals, presentations, collateral, and digital content, utilizing advanced graphic design and persuasive writing skills.Oversees the production and assembly of marketing support materials, including qualifications packages, proposals, presentations, and interview materials.Leads and supports interview preparation, including content development, graphic design, and strategic messaging.Ensures high-quality work output, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements. Manages the writing and editing process to maintain excellence in all deliverables.Develops and executes marketing strategies for campaigns, trade shows, speaking engagements, awards submissions, social media, digital marketing, and PR efforts.Takes a leadership role in organizing and managing industry events, tradeshows, and networking opportunities.Mentors and provides guidance and training to junior marketing staff, ensuring consistency in messaging, proposal development, and branding efforts. While fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.Actively participates in industry-specific professional organizations (i.e., ACEC, SMPS) and stays informed of marketing trends within the A/E/C industry.Collaborates with the Marketing Operations team to drive an integrated approach to marketing deliverables, ensuring synergy across design and communications.Plays a key role in refining marketing processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, and supporting the evolution of Fishbeck's marketing and business development approach.Minimum Physical RequirementsOccasionally exposed to light lifting, sitting, and walking. Will have normal office working conditions and be required to use a computer.
