Senior Python Engineer

As the company continues to grow, they’re looking to add on several mid and senior level Front-End Engineers to their growing teams. You’ll be working in well organized smaller scrum teams, providing where you will work on numerous exciting projects with the option to learn back-end development if you’d like as well! Some projects may include building out new functionality of their front page, search and recommendation page displays. This is an excellent opportunity to provide your heavy engineering skills at scale be well compensated in an organization that is well structured to provide plenty of opportunities for upward advancement.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, a related technical or scientific field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience as a software engineer, ideally building applications in Python
• Familiarity with continuous integration and build tools – Gitlab, Jenkins, etc
• Mastery of one programming language and working knowledge of at least one other
• Familiarity with multiple frameworks from languages and domains
• Understanding of multiple programming paradigms
• Solid grasp of design patterns and anti-patterns
• Experience in a cloud-based environment (AWS, GCP, etc.) is a plus
• Experience in a containerization environment (Docker, Kubernetes) and qeueing services is a plus
