Senior Python Engineer

Job Title: Senior Python Engineer

Location: Plano, TX (100% onsite)

USC/GC/GC EAD Only- W2 Requirement

Note: No third party/C2C or 1099

• 6+ years of professional software/backend engineering experience or equivalent.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development.
  
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
  
• Strong AWS experience with several of the following:
  
• • AWS Lambda
    
  • API Gateway
    
  • ECS/Fargate
    
  • EKS/Kubernetes
    
  • S3
    
  • EventBridge
    
  • SQS/SNS
    
  • RDS/Aurora
    
  • DynamoDB
    
  • ElastiCache/Redis
    
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
  
• Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, VPC, and cloud security.
  
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
  
• Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
  
• Strong understanding of Git, code reviews, Agile development, and production support.
  
• Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
