Pay Range: $55 - $65/hour.  Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and support enterprise Python applications and backend services. 
  • Develop REST APIs and integration logic for internal systems. 
  • Work with Oracle databases, complex SQL, and PL/SQL to support data processing and reporting. 
  • Build and maintain data validation, reconciliation, and automation workflows. 
  • Support performance tuning and optimization for Oracle queries and data pipelines. 
  • Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions. 
  • Support healthcare data workflows, reporting, and operational processes. 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 5+ years of hands-on Python development 
  • Experience building enterprise or production applications using Python 
  • Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL 
  • Strong experience with complex SQL queries 
  • Experience building or supporting backend services or APIs 
  • Experience working in Agile environments 
  • Strong communication and documentation skills 
  • FastAPI, Flask, or Django 
  • Pandas, NumPy 
  • SQLAlchemy, python-oracledb, or cx_Oracle 
  • Oracle performance tuning 
  • PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions 
  • SQL*Loader, BULK COLLECT, FORALL 
  • Power BI or Tableau 
  • Healthcare claims, payer, health plan, or healthcare data 
  • X12 / EDI (837, 835, 834)
