Senior QA Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst to lead and support Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test strategy, automation, and business analysis activities across enterprise applications and systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and automated testing, UAT leadership, test strategy development, regression testing, defect management, requirements analysis, and business process validation. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, Business System Owners, developers, vendors, project managers, and testing teams to ensure applications, integrations, data, reporting solutions, and business processes meet business and operational requirements.

The candidate must be able to work independently as a senior-level individual contributor while effectively collaborating in a cross-functional environment.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA, UAT, Business Analysis, or related roles supporting enterprise systems.
• 3+ years of experience with test automation, including developing automation strategies and transitioning manual testing processes to automated solutions.
• 3+ years of experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and executing functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• 3+ years of experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestComplete, Power Automate, UFT, or similar technologies.
• 3+ years of experience with QA/test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
• Strong experience analyzing business and functional requirements and translating business needs into testable scenarios.
• Experience developing use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and test artifacts.
• Experience with data quality validation, data reconciliation, and testing across enterprise applications, interfaces, and reporting solutions.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong experience with defect management, test execution, test evidence, reporting, and release readiness.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Technical Skills

• Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Power Automate, UFT, or similar automation frameworks.
• JUnit and/or other testing frameworks.
• Azure Test Plans and Azure DevOps.
• Jira and other defect/test management tools.
• Experience testing .NET applications, Angular front-end applications, and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, black-box, negative, data, and UAT testing.
• Experience with data warehouses, ETL processes, data pipelines, and enterprise data validation is highly desirable.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain UAT strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Create, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts for functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, data validation, and UAT testing.
• Develop automation strategies, identify automation opportunities, and implement automated regression testing solutions.
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, system designs, interface documentation, and workflows to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Participate in Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, Business System Owners, developers, vendors, project managers, and testing teams to analyze and validate requirements.
• Translate business and functional requirements into testable scenarios and technical test artifacts.
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including identification, documentation, triage, prioritization, retesting, resolution validation, and reporting.
• Track and communicate testing metrics, execution progress, defect trends, test coverage, quality risks, and UAT results.
• Review and enhance existing regression test suites to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Partner with vendors and testing teams to align Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and UAT activities.
• Support release readiness, implementation validation, production issue analysis, and continuous process improvement.
• Facilitate requirements walkthroughs, knowledge-sharing sessions, testing reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure testing activities align with business objectives, operational priorities, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.

• Experience working with data systems and automated business processes.
• Experience designing, creating, or implementing automated testing solutions.
• Experience organizing and analyzing data to support business decision-making.
• Knowledge of Georgia Gateway Integrated Eligibility System.
• Knowledge of system development and configuration.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of eligibility systems, requirements, and related business processes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior-level QA professional with strong UAT, automation, and business analysis capabilities who can work hands-on while also providing strategic direction for testing. The candidate should be comfortable working with business stakeholders and technical teams and have a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, communication, and successful delivery.
