Senior QA Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior UAT & Business Analyst to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test strategy development, business analysis activities, and quality assurance coordination across enterprise systems and related applications.

This senior-level role will ensure that systems, data, integrations, reporting solutions, and business processes meet business requirements, regulatory standards, and operational expectations. The position serves as a bridge between business stakeholders, SMEs, Business System Owners, developers, vendors, project managers, and testing teams to ensure successful solution delivery and release readiness.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, UAT leadership, test strategy development, regression testing, defect management, business process analysis, and requirements management.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to support requirements gathering, solution validation, and testing readiness.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, Business System Owners, vendors, technical teams, and project managers to analyze and document business and functional requirements.
• Perform both Business Analyst and UAT responsibilities based on project and operational needs.
• Develop and maintain UAT strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and testing approaches.
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, system designs, interfaces, and workflows to ensure complete and risk-based test coverage.
• Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts for functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, data validation, and UAT testing.
• Lead UAT activities including test execution, issue tracking, test evidence, business validation, and release readiness.
• Partner with vendors and technical teams to align Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT activities and improve overall testing coverage.
• Manage testing timelines, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and readiness activities.
• Facilitate requirements walkthroughs, knowledge-sharing sessions, and testing reviews.
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, triage, prioritization, escalation, retesting, and resolution validation.
• Track and communicate testing metrics, defect trends, test coverage, quality risks, and UAT results to stakeholders and leadership.
• Review and enhance regression test suites to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Lead test automation initiatives by identifying automation opportunities, developing automation strategies, recommending tools/frameworks, and implementing automated regression solutions.
• Support post-implementation validation, production issue analysis, and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in QA, UAT, and/or Business Analysis supporting enterprise systems.
• 3+ years of experience in test automation, including automation strategy and transitioning manual testing to automated solutions.
• Strong experience developing test strategies, test cases, test scripts, and executing functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• Experience analyzing business and functional requirements, developing use cases, and translating business needs into testable scenarios.
• Experience with data quality validation, data reconciliation, enterprise applications, interfaces, and reporting solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar QA/test management tools.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestComplete, Power Automate, UFT, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, and external partners.

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of eligibility requirements and enterprise eligibility systems.
• Strong understanding of automation processes and business needs.
• Deep understanding of black-box, regression, negative, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Power Automate, JUnit, and Azure Test Plans.
• Experience with .NET applications, Angular front ends, and relational databases.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Ability to develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical test artifacts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
