Description & Requirements

Who we are

We are the engineering team behind the world’s largest over-the-counter (OTC) electronic trading (ET) platform, encompassing Fixed Income securities, Commodities, Currencies, Derivatives, Equities, Futures and Options. Our platform provides end-to-end solutions across the trading life cycle, enabling traders to connect more successfully to the global markets — all in one place.

The Electronic Trading Quality Engineering (ETQE) Team is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to design and execute tests to deliver high-quality software at all stages of the SDLC and post-deployment. You will work closely with Product and Application Engineers to feature test and take ownership of both end-to-end feature testing of client trading workflows.

What you’ll do

+ Test Strategy & Planning: Design accurate, thorough test strategies and plans, leveraging deep domain, regulatory, and technical expertise to ensure superior product quality.

+ Feature & Requirements Validation: Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to understand functional requirements, actively contributing to and constructively challenging them when appropriate.

+ Manual & Automated Testing: Execute testing across manual and automated methodologies, ensuring robust coverage across workflows.

+ End-to-End Ownership: Take responsibility for the full testing lifecycle of trading products, including feature, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

+ Operational Resiliency: Validate system resiliency by testing performance, load, concurrency, edge cases, and race conditions.

+ Automation & Metrics: Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver automated testing, integrate feature usage metrics, and align automated test coverage with risk areas.

+ Risk & Communication: Proactively identify risks, communicate them clearly, and work with stakeholders on mitigation strategies.

+ Usability & Quality: Assess product quality from an end-user perspective, recommending enhancements that improve usability and client experience.

+ Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor team members on domain expertise, testing processes, usability, and End-to-End testing best practices.

+ Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships across Product, Engineering, and external clients/systems to drive alignment on quality goals.

+ Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the broader vision of continuous testing and continuous deployment.

You’ll need to have

+ 4+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry, ideally in financial markets and/or electronic trading.

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

+ Excellent organization and communication skills.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholder teams.

+ Passion for testing and delivering quality software at speed.

We’d love to see

+ Experience testing electronic trading workflows.

+ Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

+ Experience with automated backend and UI testing frameworks.

+ Project Management experience

+ Working directly with external clients
