Senior QA Automation Engineer Performance & Framework Development

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on QA Automation Engineer with strong development skills who can design and build test frameworks, backend services, and lightweight UI applications to support performance testing and test execution analytics for applications running on Smart TVs and Set-Top Boxes (STBs).

Core Technical Capabilities

• Build and maintain automation and performance testing frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop backend services and APIs that orchestrate test execution, collect results, and manage test infrastructure.
• Build lightweight web dashboards and reporting portals using React or Angular for test execution monitoring and analytics.
• Design and implement BDD-based automation solutions using Cypress and Cucumber.
• Develop solutions integrating with Kafka or similar messaging systems for event-driven test workflows.
• Deploy and maintain framework components on AWS.
• Analyze application performance, scalability, and stability across TV and STB platforms.
• Integrate test frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.

Desired Experience

• 5+ years in QA Automation, SDET, or Software Engineering.
• Experience building both test automation solutions and supporting platform components (services/UI).
• Experience with performance testing and test execution analytics.
• Exposure to Smart TV, OTT, Streaming, Android TV, Fire TV, or STB platforms is highly preferred.

Ideal Profile: A hybrid QA Engineer + Full-Stack Developer who can build the automation framework, supporting services, and dashboards required to execute, monitor, and analyze large-scale test runs.
