**About the role** As a **Senior QA Automation Engineer - Selenium, Java & Qualitia** you will make an impact by driving high-quality, scalable, and reliable digital solutions through advanced automation and performance testing. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, product, and business teams, to ensure best-in-class testing practices across enterprise applications. **In this role, you will:** Lead the design and implementation of robust test automation strategies across UI, API, and enterprise systems Architect and enhance automation frameworks to ensure optimal coverage, scalability, and efficiency Drive end-to-end quality assurance across cloud, web, APIs/services, and databases Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders to align quality strategies with business goals Execute and optimize performance and load testing for both UI and API layers while ensuring system reliability **Work model** We believe flexibility is key to delivering our best work. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. **What you need to have to be considered:** 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation in enterprise environments **Mandatory: Hands-on experience with** **QUALITIA** **test automation tool** Strong expertise in automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium, Java, TestNG, SoapUI, or similar Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level test automation frameworks Hands-on experience with API testing, BDD frameworks, and codeless/scriptless automation approaches Experience in performance and load testing for UI and APIs (e.g., JMeter) Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD integration Experience with version control and DevOps tools (GitHub, VSTS/Azure DevOps) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills **These will help you stand out:** Experience in the mortgage or financial services domain Exposure to tools such as Loan Runner or similar lending platforms Experience working with executive-level stakeholders and influencing quality strategy Ability to mentor team members and drive QA best practices and innovation Strong experience in business workflow validation and real-world scenario testing We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
