Senior QA Engineer

Selby Jennings is partnering with a global hedge fund managing over $20 billion in assets looking to add a a Sr.QA engineer to its engineering organization. As a hands-on engineer, you will design, build, and maintain automated test suites across several application suites and cross functional teams. This high-impact role reports to the Head of QA and will play a key role in evolving the firm's QA methodologies to align with front, middle, and back-office development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement robust automated test suites across multiple business units, working closely with stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Build and implement performance test suites for systematic trading platforms.
• Develop testing strategies, implement coding standardization metrics, select tools, oversee change management processes, etc.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to improve and automate test strategies.
• Implement test cases, evaluate results, prepare test data, and design functional tests in the required framework.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in QA functions, with at least 5 years in a role within financial services
• Proficiency in building automation and testing solutions with Python, Java and/or C++ is highly desired.
• Expertise in test automation and integrating tests with CI processes.
• Previous experience in Middle Office technology such as Accounting, IBOR, and P&L reporting technologies preferred

Expected base compensation: $175,000 - $225,000 + Cash Bonus
