Job Title: Senior QC Inspector - Gas Construction
Location: Baltimore, MD
Job Type and Duration: Contract, with potential to go permanent. Currently 1-year current contract with the chance for another year extension.
QC Inspector Sr. (Senior Quality Control Inspector) is responsible for overseeing and leading quality control activities within a manufacturing or production environment. They ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications before they are released to customers. Responsibilities may include:
Leading and coordinating quality control activities, including inspections, tests, and evaluations of products.
Developing and implementing quality control procedures and guidelines.
Performing inspections, measurements, and functional tests on products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Identifying and documenting defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities in products.
Reporting inspection and test results to QC managers or supervisors.
Participating in the investigation and resolution of quality issues.
Providing training and guidance to junior QC inspectors.
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality control procedures and guidelines.
Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Keeping abreast of industry standards and best practices in quality control.
Candidate MUST haves:
Can utilize personal vehicle
7+ years of gas construction experience
Ability to take and collect photos
Familiar with all BGE safety requirements
Familiar with gas construction requirements for BGE standards
Ability to inspect construction work and work autonomously
Ability to read and interpret gas construction prints
Can take pictures and utilize MDT's
Is familiar with gas service and main work
Has fusion experience
Common Trench experience a bonus
Can gain all required OQ for an inspector profile
