Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Compensation: $55 - $62.53/hr

Join a leading medical technology organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovation and quality. This onsite Quality Engineering role supports the development and manufacture of medical devices by driving product quality, process controls, supplier quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, operations, supplier quality, and engineering teams to investigate nonconformances, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with applicable quality system requirements. This position focuses on physical products and manufacturing processes rather than software or IT quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed.
• Designs and installs sophisticated testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates.
• Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, process control, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with testing equipment and product analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and apply professional judgment.
