    Electric Boat relies on the highest Quality standards to help build the most advanced submarines in the world. The Quality Assurance Engineering and Ship Certification Support Teams support audits, disclosure reviews, and reviews of liabilities driving revisions to ensure our shipbuilders meet the Quality standards to keep our sailors safe in the most unforgiving environments on earth.

    The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the review and issuance of Drawings, Engineering Reports, and Technical Specification Documents. Their assignments may include SEP technical support, special investigations, review and implementation of Quality procedures, tracking issues across the company or class, and review of documentation for certification of the ship. In the role the candidate will interface with cross-functional teams including SSGR, Engineering, Design, Planning, Program Office, Operations, and Ships Management.

    The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Candidates must be able to adapt as the workload and position requirements change and have a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that may require periodic off-shift and weekend support.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 5+ years of related experience
    • Experience with MS Office products and database management
    • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD Secret Clearance
    • Must be able to read and interpret company policies and procedures
    • Demonstrated ability to perform in a role that required a high level of trust and integrity

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field
    • Formal training or certifications in quality (e.g. ASQ certified quality process analyst, quality auditing,or quality management
    • 8+ years of related experience
