    Quality Control Engineer Opportunity - Aerospace, Defense & SATCOM ManufacturingWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Engineer opportunity with a leading aerospace and defense organization supporting advanced satellite communications (SATCOM), RF systems, and mission‑critical electronic solutions in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys working in a highly technical manufacturing environment and partnering with engineering, production, suppliers, and customers to ensure the highest levels of product quality, reliability, and compliance.The successful candidate will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality processes across complex aerospace and defense programs. This role will involve driving corrective actions, supporting manufacturing operations, improving supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Support Quality Management System activities within an AS9100 / aerospace manufacturing environmentLead investigations into product and process issues using structured root cause analysis methodologiesManage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness of implemented solutionsSupport First Article Inspection (AS9102), inspection planning, and manufacturing readiness activitiesPartner with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes, reduce defects, and increase production efficiencySupport supplier quality activities, including supplier performance improvement and issue resolutionReview engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection requirementsParticipate in internal audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement initiativesIdeal Candidate Background:Experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace, defense, electronics, SATCOM, RF, or advanced manufacturing environmentsStrong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systemsli>Experience with nonconformance management, MRB, RCCA, 8D, and 5 Why problem-solving methodsUnderstanding of First Article Inspection (AS9102), GD&T, inspection processes, and manufacturing documentationExperience supporting suppliers, production teams, and cross-functional engineering groupsPreferred Experience:Aerospace, Satellite communications systems or RF/electronic manufacturingPCB assemblies, electronic components, or high-reliability productsNADCAP, FAA Part 145, Lean Six Sigma, PFMEA, SPC, or process validationMilitary and commercial aerospace programsThis is a great opportunity to join a team developing and delivering advanced technologies that support aerospace, defense, and global communication missions.
