  • Coordinate cross functional decision making with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to determine reuse, repurpose, repair, harvest-for-core, or recycle pathways.
  • Manage repair/recovery suppliers: onboarding, scope definition, quality assurance expectations, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Lead quality assurance activities to ensure recovered/repaired parts meet specification, traceability, packaging, and labeling requirements; ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable industry standards.
  • Support supplier and process audits; own follow up actions, documentation, and closure of findings.
  • Manage part change impacts (Engineering Change Notices, supersessions) and coordinate disposition alignment with overseas teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and standardize work instructions, process controls, and reporting to improve recovery rate, cycle time, and financial return.
  • Analyze recovery opportunities using demand signals, inventory status, part age/obsolescence risk, and warranty/quality data to prioritize highest value actions.
  • Communicate status, risks, and recoveries to leadership; escalate complex quality or disposition issues with clear options and recommendations.
  • Mentor/guide junior analysts or extended teams (including overseas support) and promote a continuous-improvement mindset.
Key Competencies:
  • Process discipline and attention to detail.
  • Root-cause problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Supplier performance management.
  • Ability to balance quality, cost, delivery, and risk tradeoffs.
  • Stakeholder management across Engineering/Quality/Operations.
  • Clear, executive-ready communication.
What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong Project Managment Skills & Expierence - 1-2 years.
  • 5+ years of experience in parts recovery, remanufacturing, quality, supplier management, plant operations, or related automotive/industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of part lifecycle management concepts (change notices, supersessions, obsolescence) and basic quality systems (inspection, nonconformance, corrective action).
  • Experience coordinating cross functional teams and external suppliers to execute operational initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills (ability to interpret part/inventory data, build insights, and prioritize actions).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); comfort working with large data sets and recurring reports.

  • Experience working with overseas/remote teams and shared-service operating models.
  • Knowledge of automotive service parts, remanufacturing, and core return programs.
