Our Client Company, a well-established global manufacturing organization known for innovation, quality, and operational excellence, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join its manufacturing operation in Johnson City, Tennessee.

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key leadership role in improving product quality, supporting manufacturing operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Lead and mentor the Quality Engineering and Quality Technician team.

·Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and statistical analysis.

·Investigate quality issues utilizing Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5 Why, and corrective/preventive action methodologies.

·Support manufacturing by identifying opportunities to reduce defects and improve process capability.

·Partner with suppliers to improve supplier quality and resolve production issues.

·Manage supplier PPAP approvals and supplier quality initiatives.

·Lead ISO 9001 quality system compliance and internal quality initiatives.

·Analyze manufacturing and supplier data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

·Develop quality metrics and present findings to leadership.

·Support new product launches and manufacturing process improvements.

·Coach and develop quality personnel while helping build a culture of operational excellence.


Qualifications

We’re looking for professionals who have:

·Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

·5+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.

·Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

·Strong background in:

oStatistical Process Control (SPC)

oSix Sigma methodologies

oRoot Cause Analysis

o8D Problem Solving

oPPAP

oSupplier Quality

oISO 9001

·Experience using Minitab, Excel, and other quality analysis tools.

·Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

·Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)

·Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)

·Master’s Degree in Engineering

·Experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke)
