Duration: 3 months to start (Contract-to-perm)
Hours per week: 40
Start Date: Targeting by 8/31
Rate: $52/hr - $59/hr W2

Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Product Quality Engineer to support the manufacturing and ongoing quality of complex electronic and electrical medical devices within an FDA-regulated environment. This person will lead product quality investigations, drive root cause analysis, support manufacturing issue resolution, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve product performance and reliability. The role will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and quality teams to identify nonconformances, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate has extensive experience supporting electronic, electrical, or electromechanical medical devices and enjoys solving complex manufacturing and product quality challenges.

Key Responsibilities
Lead investigations into product quality issues, nonconformances, and manufacturing defects.
Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality.
Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve production issues and support ongoing product improvements.
Review quality trends, manufacturing data, and product performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support design changes, manufacturing documentation, and quality activities throughout the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Must Have Skills
10+ years of Product Quality Engineering experience supporting Aerospace or FDA-regulated electronic, electrical, or electromechanical devices, including manufacturing quality, root cause analysis, CAPA, and production support.

Bonus / Nice to Have
Experience supporting CT scanners, diagnostic imaging systems, patient monitoring equipment, or other complex electronic medical devices (Class II/III), along with familiarity with ISO 13485, Arena QMS, or Minitab.
