Description
The key responsibilities of the Senior Quality Engineer are:
- Lead and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformances, customer complaints, and internal findings
- Apply advanced knowledge of GD&T and engineering principles to ensure precision and inspectability
- Support manufacturing and engineering teams with quality planning, process validation, and risk assessment activities
- Develop and execute inspection plans, control plans, and quality metrics
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customer audits, supplier quality issues, and cross-functional problem-solving efforts
- Analyze quality data and trends to recommend process improvements and reduce defects
- Mentor junior quality staff and provide technical guidance on quality tools and methodologies
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring quality requirements are properly defined and implemented

Profile
The successful Senior Quality Engineer will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
- Advanced proficiency in CMM programming and process validation
- Strong experience within metrology
- Experience in precision manufacturing, tooling, machining, or industrial products
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
- Knowledge of supplier quality management and audit processes
- Proficiency with measuring equipment and inspection techniques
