Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary quality interface between business units to standardize processes, data structures, and system usageIdentify gaps, inconsistencies, and redundancies between teams and drive standardization effortsFacilitate working sessions to harmonize quality practices, documentation, and system workflowsOwn and maintain the processes that control Bills of Material (BOMs), part numbers, and revision levels across integrated product linesApply configuration management best practices to ensure traceability, change control, and data accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure quality impacts are properly assessed and implementedServe as an internal subject matter expert for Arena PLM and QMS modules (or similar tools)Interface directly with software service providers to kick off and configure Nonconformance/CAPA modulesDefine workflows and data relationships aligned to business needsTranslate business requirements into actionable system configurations (not just slideware)Design and implement foundational quality programs such as calibration programs (from initial inventory through recurring execution)Inspection, supplier quality, or non‑conformance workflowsDevelop procedures, work instructions, and training materials to support program rolloutEnsure programs are scalable, auditable, and usable by frontline teams, ranging from prototypes to full‑scale productions.Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve quality and data issues and disconnects.Support root cause investigations and corrective actions where system or configuration issues are involved.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data integrity, and cross‑team alignmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field8+ years' experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Quality Systems rolesDirect experience with low‑volume/high‑mix manufacturing environments with demanding customer requirements (e.g., Aerospace/defense or similar)Demonstrated experience with BOM maintenance and product structure managementDemonstrated experience with configuration management and change controlDemonstrated experience with PLM/QMS tools (Arena strongly preferred)Proven ability to execute detailed work independently while collaborating across teams.Hands‑on experience configuring, launching and sustaining Non‑conformance/CAPA modulesHands‑on experience configuring, launching and sustaining Calibration or metrology programsHands‑on experience configuring, launching and sustaining Traceability standards/best practicesPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with regulated or compliance‑driven environments (ISO 9001, AS9100, FDA, etc.)Experience supporting product integration following mergers, acquisitions, or organizational restructuringComfortable operating in environments with state‑of‑the‑art processes and evolving requirements.Experience working directly with external vendors or software providersWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleQuality and product data are consistent, traceable, and usable across both business units.Systems such as Arena PLM are actively used, not just technically implemented.Calibration, non‑conformance, and change workflows function end‑to‑end with minimal friction.Teams trust the systems and processes because they were built with practicality in mind.Prototype lifecycle items are fast to process, whereas production lifecycle items contain detailed information.BenefitsSalary range: $120,000 – $145,000 USD per year100% company‑paid medical, dental, vision, short/long‑term disabilityEmployer‑funded Health Savings AccountUnlimited PTO401(k) matchCompany‑paid Life and AD&D InsuranceFlexible Savings AccountPaid FMLA, Maternity/Paternity LeaveEmployee Assistance ProgramStudent Loan RepaymentEquity Program#J-18808-Ljbffr
