Senior Quality Failure Analysis Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field (or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience)
• 6+ years of experience in Failure Analysis, Quality Engineering, or Reliability Engineering
• Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA methodologies
• Hands-on experience investigating mechanical, electrical, and fluid-system failures
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and RMA analysis
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
• ISO 9001 quality management system familiarity
• Statistical analysis tools such as Minitab preferred
• Data center infrastructure or server hardware experience preferred
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency required

Responsibilities:

• Lead failure investigations and identify root causes through troubleshooting, data analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Develop failure analysis reports with clear findings and recommended corrective actions
• Own quality issues from detection through resolution, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement and verify corrective actions
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues and support production teams in resolving quality problems
• Analyze returned products and customer failures to determine root causes and support quality investigations
