We are seeking an experienced Senior SQF Quality Manager to oversee quality, food safety, and compliance programs within a fast-paced food-contact packaging manufacturing environment. This role will provide site-level leadership for the Quality and Food Safety Management System while ensuring products, processes, and documentation meet SQF, customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality, Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, Packaging, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive quality and/or food safety experience in manufacturing, including 3+ years in a quality leadership role
- Experience administrating an SQF-certified comparable GFSI-recognized management system
- Formal HACCP training and working knowledge of risk-based food safety planning
- Strong experience with internal auditing, corrective action, root-cause analysis, supplier, quality, document control, and traceability
- Knowledge of regulatory, customer, specification, and certification requirements
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic quality/document-management systems
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and maintain the site’s SQF and Food Safety Management Systems
- Oversee HACCP, GMP, sanitation, food safety, and quality programs
- Lead SQF certification, recertification, internal audits, and corrective actions
- Establish and maintain product inspection, testing, sampling, and quality standards
- Investigate customer complaints, defects, nonconformances, and recurring quality issues
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Manage supplier quality, raw material requirements, and supplier corrective actions
- Ensure effective product identification, traceability, holds, release, and recall procedures
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory, customer, and food-contact requirements
- Lead quality and food safety training and help develop quality team members
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Sales, and Operations to improve processes and product quality
- Monitor quality KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
