    Description

    The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of major building projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management, contract administration, claims management, variation assessment, procurement support, and project financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
    The role will be based in Abu Dhabi.

    Key Responsibilities:
     Manage all quantity surveying and commercial activities on building projects.
     Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender documentation, and contract documents.
     Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
     Review, evaluate, and negotiate variations, claims, extension of time submissions, and additional cost claims.
     Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim payment applications and final accounts.
     Monitor project budgets, cash flow, forecasts, and commercial performance.
     Provide commercial and contractual support to Project Managers, Resident Engineers, and project teams.
     Manage subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and final account settlements.
     Identify commercial risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation measures.
     Maintain accurate records of contractual correspondence, commercial documentation, and project financial data.
     Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities on commercial and contractual matters.
     Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and commercial negotiations.
     Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
     Prepare monthly commercial reports and management updates.
