About the JobArdmac are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and surveying aspects of a major high value industrial project located in Somerset.

Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

In this role, you will be working on the following tasks: Overall financial, contractual and legal contract of the project. Working on basis of strong knowledge and understanding of our obligations under the Contract. Preparation of contract budget Administration of Contract Records. Attendance at meetings such as contract handover meeting Produce regular cost reports Measurement and valuation. Production of Loss and Expense claims with Surveying Manager / Commercial Director. Production and agreement of Final Accounts. Form Relationship with PQS/Client/consultants/Supply Chain. Development and mentoring of commercial staff within the project team

Qualifications: BSc in Quantity Surveying

Ability and knowledge of: Knowledge of construction methods and technology Knowledge & understanding of measurement, valuation, claims, loss & expense Knowledge & understanding of Final Accounts Knowledge & understanding of subcontract/materials orders & buying What we offerThere are many benefits to working with Ardmac.
