    Senior Quantity Surveyor

    Location: Suffolk

    The Opportunity

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading specialist contractor delivering works on one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a complex, long-term project where you'll play a key role in commercial management, supporting the successful delivery of major civil engineering and geotechnical works.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the commercial performance of allocated work packages.
    • Administer NEC contracts, including Early Warnings and Compensation Events.
    • Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial reporting.
    • Manage subcontractor procurement, accounts and commercial performance.
    • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
    • Work closely with operational teams to support successful project delivery.
    • Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team.

    About You

    We're looking for candidates with:

    • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
    • Strong commercial experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
    • Good understanding of NEC contracts.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred).
    • Experience within ground engineering, piling or heavy civils would be advantageous.
