    • Supports plant operations stakeholders with escalated material quality claims and supplier-related issues, escalating to Category Managers as appropriate.
    • Develops and maintains a raw material planning and supplier roadmap to assess spend, supplier performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Serves as a site gatekeeper for purchasing policy compliance and adherence to internal control requirements.
    • Follows guidance regarding raw material shortages, allocation, source changes, price changes, and related direction from Purchasing and Category Managers.
    • Supports month-end purchase order closure and other finance-led activities as needed.
    • Tracks and reports cost reduction activity as required.
    • Performs daily issue resolution by reconciling receipts, outstanding shipments, inventory status, and the most current production schedule.
    • Monitors and reports supplier performance and uses available e-tools to document and track issues.
    • Develops planning metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for use during the S&OP process.
    • Supports reduction of manual planning tools and improves the effectiveness of SAP MRP settings.
    • Identifies risks to raw material availability and provides recommendations to improve planning accuracy, inventory control, supplier performance, and material flow.
    • Partners with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to support business continuity and operational performance.
    • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as needed and/or requested by management.
