Senior Real Estate Controller

Compensation: $150,000–$180,000 total compensation
Location: South Boston | Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function and oversee a high-performing accounting team
• Own financial reporting, including investor and external reporting requirements
• Oversee residential real estate accounting, including HUD reporting and compliance
• Partner closely with the CFO on cash flow, financial strategy, and continued growth
• Drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and create scalable accounting infrastructure

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience within real estate
• Strong residential real estate and HUD experience
• Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams
• Experience with investor and external financial reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or Master’s preferred
