Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a Senior Real Estate Paralegal on behalf of a well-established Connecticut law firm with a thriving residential real estate practice. This direct-hire, onsite opportunity in Shelton, Connecticut offers an excellent chance for an experienced real estate paralegal seeking long-term growth, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to become a key member of a collaborative legal team.

Position Overview

The Senior Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys throughout all phases of residential real estate transactions, managing files from contract through closing while serving as a primary point of contact for clients, lenders, brokers, and other parties. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently manage multiple active transactions and is looking to build a long-term career with an established firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential real estate transactions from contract through closing
• Prepare and coordinate closing packages and related documentation
• Review and assist with title-related matters
• Prepare lender and borrower documentation
• Draft and organize transactional documents
• Communicate with clients, lenders, brokers, attorneys, and other stakeholders throughout the closing process
• Maintain organized files and ensure all critical deadlines are met
• Provide comprehensive support for the firm's residential real estate practice

Qualifications

• Previous residential real estate paralegal experience
• Strong knowledge of Connecticut residential real estate closing procedures
• Experience coordinating purchase and sale transactions
• Familiarity with title matters and closing documentation
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional, collaborative, and client-service oriented

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $85,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience
