About Clicklease

Clicklease is transforming how small businesses access the equipment they need to grow. Our technology platform uses data and automation to make equipment financing faster, simpler, and more accessible for business owners across the United States.

About the Role

The Senior Recovery Collections Specialist is more than a collections role—it's an opportunity to own a portfolio, solve complex recovery challenges, and make a measurable impact on Clicklease's success.

We're looking for someone who sees every delinquent account as a problem to solve, not a reason to give up. Someone who is naturally curious, resourceful, and persistent. When others stop after a few calls or a voicemail, you keep thinking. You look for new ways to connect, uncover information, and move an account toward resolution while always operating within company policies and compliance requirements.

This role offers significant ownership and autonomy. You'll evaluate each account, develop recovery strategies, negotiate resolutions, coordinate repossessions when appropriate, and partner with internal teams to maximize portfolio performance.

If you're energized by uncovering solutions others overlook, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering results through persistence, creativity, and accountability, you'll find a rewarding career at Clicklease.

The Team

The Portfolio Operations team plays a critical role in supporting portfolio health, customer account servicing, and operational execution across the business. Team members work collaboratively across collections, asset recovery, legal support, fraud, and portfolio servicing functions to deliver strong customer and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Secure recovery payments and asset returns (primarily trailers) from charged-off accounts in an ownership-driven environment.
  • Assess account history, asset type, past and present circumstances to determine appropriate next steps, including settlement, repossession, replevin, equipment sale, vendor solution, fraud review or legal.
  • Persistent outbound engagement attempts using phone, text, email and other creative approaches to default customers and related stakeholders to remedy default.
  • Maintain accurate account records, servicing documentation, and operational updates within company systems.
  • Monitor portfolio activity and contribute to individual and team departmental performance targets.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners regarding account actions, documentation, and compliance requirements.

What You Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or consumer collections, repossession, legal, portfolio servicing, financial operations, customer account management, or related operational environments.
  • Experience supporting delinquent account workflows or account resolution processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems/platforms.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience in small business lending or leasing, commercial assets, and portfolios management across all 50 U.S. states, as well as in consumer or financial services environments.
  • Experience supporting legal collections, repossession coordination, replevins, fraud workflows, or settlement operations.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish capabilities.

What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months

  • Independently manage assigned portfolio workflows with minimal supervision.
  • Consistently meets operational productivity and account resolution expectations.
  • Demonstrates accuracy in account documentation, servicing updates, and escalation handling.
  • Builds strong working relationships across collections, repossession, legal support, and portfolio operations teams.
