Description


The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts across the organization, identifying and attracting top talent for field, professional, technical, and leadership positions throughout the Southeast. This role acts as a subject matter expert in recruitment, workforce planning, sourcing strategies, employment branding, and talent market intelligence while driving continuous improvement in recruiting processes and outcomes.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for exempt, non-exempt, professional, technical, and leadership positions across the organization. 
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies that align with workforce planning objectives and operational needs. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers by serving as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition best practices, market trends, and hiring strategies. 
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract high-quality active and passive candidates in a competitive labor market. 
  • Implement cost-effective recruiting programs, including employee referral initiatives, talent communities, networking efforts, and strategic sourcing campaigns. 
  • Maintain and expand a network of professional contacts, industry associations, schools, trade organizations, and community partnerships to build robust talent pipelines. 
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with colleges, universities, technical schools, alumni groups, military transition programs, and workforce development organizations. 
  • Proactively source, engage, and assess candidates for current and future hiring needs. 
  • Write and manage job advertisements across multiple platforms and leverage recruiting technologies, social media, and online sourcing tools to identify qualified candidates. 
  • Coordinate and represent the Company at career fairs, industry events, trade associations, schools, and community organizations to promote Morgan Corp as an employer of choice. 
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and recommend improvements. 
  • Monitor labor market conditions, competitive hiring practices, compensation trends, and industry developments to support talent acquisition planning. 
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by accurately documenting recruiting activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and advising hiring managers on compliant hiring practices. 
  • Evaluate and improve recruiting processes, workflows, and candidate experience initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Lead or participate in talent acquisition projects, employer branding initiatives, recruiting technology enhancements, and process improvement efforts. 
  • Mentor and guide recruiters, coordinators, and hiring managers on recruiting best practices and interviewing techniques. 
  • Assist with succession planning, workforce planning, and other strategic Human Resources initiatives as needed. 
  • Support all phases of the hiring process as required. 
  • Assist with various HR initiatives and special projects as needed.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Minimum 8–10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including experience recruiting professional, technical, and leadership-level positions. 
  • Proven success developing and implementing strategic sourcing and talent acquisition initiatives. 
  • Prior construction industry knowledge and/or experience are strongly preferred. 
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers across multiple business functions. 
  • Previous applicant tracking system (ATS) experience required; experience with recruiting analytics and reporting preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, recruiting compliance requirements, and hiring best practices. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent customer service, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to drive recruiting decisions. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software programs, email, and intranet usage. 
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing. 
  • Position requires the ability to travel approximately 20–25% of the time. 
  • Schedule flexibility is required, including the ability to work evenings and weekends as business needs dictate.
