Senior Recruiter (Internal Team @ BlueWave)

Position Overview

BlueWave is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our fast-paced agency recruiting team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, is comfortable managing the full recruiting lifecycle, and knows how to build relationships with candidates while moving quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple open positions in a high-volume agency environment.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, RoadDogJobs, job boards, referrals, and internal databases.
• Build Boolean searches and proactively identify qualified passive candidates.
• Conduct phone, video, and face-to-face candidate interviews.
• Evaluate candidates for technical ability, experience, compensation expectations, availability, and overall fit.
• Present opportunities clearly and manage pay and salary negotiations.
• Maintain accurate candidate and activity records in Bullhorn.
• Use tools such as ChatGPT to improve sourcing, candidate outreach, and recruiting efficiency.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process.
• Stay actively involved through offer acceptance, onboarding, background checks, and the candidate’s start date.
• Develop long-term relationships with candidates and maintain an active talent pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with account managers and recruiting leadership to prioritize urgent hiring needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent agency recruiting experience.
• Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven recruiting environment.
• Strong sourcing, Boolean search, interviewing, and candidate-closing skills.
• Comfortable discussing compensation and negotiating hourly pay rates and salaries.
• Willing to take a hands-on role in candidate onboarding and pre-employment requirements.
• Experience using a combination of platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, RoadDogJobs, Bullhorn, and ChatGPT.
• Comfortable conducting professional face-to-face interviews.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and time-management skills.
• Able to independently manage multiple openings and shifting priorities.
• Available to start as soon as possible.

Preferred Experience

• Recruiting for skilled trades, engineering, manufacturing, construction, aerospace, or other technical positions.
• Experience recruiting contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire candidates.
• Bullhorn ATS experience.
• Located in or near Orlando, Florida.
