Description
Senior Regional Engineering Manager — Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Transparent Search Group has been retained to identify a Senior Regional Engineering Manager for a food manufacturing company based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for engineering operations across multiple production facilities. Our client is open to relocation assistance for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership to multi-plant engineering teams across the region
Oversee capital project planning, budgeting, and execution at multiple facilities
Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
Partner with plant operations leadership to align engineering resources with production goals
Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all sites
Develop and mentor site-level engineering managers and technical staff
Evaluate and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce cost
Manage relationships with contractors, equipment vendors, and external engineering resources
Qualifications
Background in food manufacturing is required
Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams across multiple plant locations
Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering disciplines
Proven track record managing capital projects from concept through commissioning
Familiarity with food safety regulations including FSMA, HACCP, and GMP standards
Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and organizational levels
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred
