Job Description
Lead reliability engineering activities throughout the entire product development life cycle. Define and execute qualification strategies to support new product releases. Partner with engineering teams to integrate Design for Reliability (DfR) methodologies and best practices. Develop reliability plans, DFMEAs, reliability growth programs, and accelerated life test strategies. Design and execute reliability verification and validation testing. Build reliability models and conduct thermo-mechanical simulations at the component and system levels. Analyze field, manufacturing, quality, and customer data to establish key reliability metrics. Drive root cause investigations, failure analysis efforts, and corrective action implementation. Evaluate engineering changes and assess their impact on product reliability. Collaborate with global service teams, suppliers, and customers to improve product performance and reliability. Generate reliability forecasts and metrics including MTBF, availability, and reliability growth performance. Support worldwide customer and supplier engagements as needed.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering. Advanced knowledge of reliability methodologies, reliability testing, and statistical analysis. Hands-on experience with reliability software tools such as ReliaSoft, PTC Windchill, and/or Minitab. Experience developing reliability plans, DFMEAs, and qualification strategies. Background in reliability modeling and data-driven reliability improvement programs. Strong cross-functional communication and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively within engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer-facing teams. Semiconductor capital equipment experience is highly preferred. CRE certification and/or an advanced engineering degree is a plus. Ability to travel approximately 10% globally.
