The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to work onsite in Woburn, MA. Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.
What You Will Do
This role will support both functions of Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineering and Failure Reporting Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Engineering and will be responsible for executing the RAM/FRACAS program activities such as:
• Conducting RAM analyses, including reliability predictions and maintainability predictions. Conducting RAM analyses, including reliability predictions and maintainability predictions.
• Performing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and Fault Detection/Fault Isolation (FDFI) analyses. Performing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and Fault Detection/Fault Isolation (FDFI) analyses.
• Generating Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs)/system models. Generating Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs)/system models.
• Defining/allocating RAM requirements. Defining/allocating RAM requirements.
• Reviewing field failure data and assessing performance using calculations such as Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time Between Critical Failure (MTBCF) & Operational Availability (Ao). Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires a Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience. Typically requires a Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer
• Experience with Reliability and FRACAS Engineering concepts including knowledge of reliability and maintainability predictions, FMECA/FDFI, RBDs, MTBF/MTBCF, and Ao.
