Responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, testing, and overhaul activities on production equipment, machinery, tools, and systems. This role serves as a technical expert, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment issues.
Conduct equipment overhauls, rebuilds, and major repairs.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
Support equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
Maintain maintenance records and documentation in CMMS systems.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve equipment performance.
Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Technical degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience in Maintenance, Electromechanics, Industrial Technology, or related field.
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace, electronics, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
