Description:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Research Associate – Molecular Biology to support an innovative antibody therapeutics research and development program.

This role offers hands-on exposure to drug development from early-stage research through development and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring strong molecular biology experience, attention to detail, and the ability to independently execute experiments while collaborating effectively with cross-functional project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and perform a variety of molecular biology techniques, including:
  • PCR
  • Cloning
  • Nucleic acid extraction
• Process primary cell samples.
• Perform flow cytometry.
• Work with E. coli and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
• Contribute to new product development initiatives.
• Compile, analyze, and interpret experimental data for study reports.
• Prepare and present PowerPoint presentations summarizing experimental findings.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of experiments and results.
• Communicate scientific findings clearly to project team members and stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities with cross-functional groups and project teams.
• Participate in experimental discussions and present data to project teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency in one or more of the following molecular biology techniques:
  • PCR
  • Cloning
  • Nucleic acid extraction
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to design and execute experiments with minimal technical supervision.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced research environment.
• Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or another related scientific discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
