This is a non-exempt position.
Your Impact
- Execute residential HVAC system installs, upgrades, and replacements to high standards.
- Cut, thread, and connect copper/PVC piping; complete high- and low-voltage wiring.
- Coach and develop Install Helpers on-site and in the shop.
- Create exceptional homeowner experiences through clear communication and service.
- Lift, bend, carry, and move items over 50 pounds; maintain a clean, organized vehicle and tool set.
- Operate safely at heights, in attics, and in tight spaces under all weather conditions.
- Meet appliance standards and comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and company service standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 1+ year of residential HVAC experience
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- EPA certification
- Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking
- Proactive, enthusiastic work ethic and commitment to quality
- Customer-focused communicator; professional with colleagues at all levels
- Collaborative, adaptable, and innovative in dynamic environments
Physical Requirements
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing ladders; accessing attics; entering crawlspaces; navigating tight spaces
- Pushing, carrying, pulling; using hand tools; fine-detail work; ability to drive
- Standing, walking, sitting; talking or hearing in person and by telephone
- Handling objects or controls with hands; reaching with hands and arms
- Regular stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching
- Exposure to extreme indoor/outdoor temperatures and adverse weather (wind, rain, ice, snow)
