Job DetailsAre you an experienced construction professional with a knack for quality control, materials management, and construction planning? We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Senior Residential Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to manage high-profile residential construction projects and lead a team of dedicated professionals. You will be at the helm of all construction operations, ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards of quality, within the budget and timeline.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Senior Residential Superintendent, you will:
1. Oversee all aspects of the construction process, from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are carried out according to plan and within the allocated budget.
2. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets or exceeds the set standards.
3. Manage construction materials effectively to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
4. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Lead and supervise the construction team, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and productivity.
6. Resolve any on-site issues or disputes between workers, ensuring a safe and harmonious work environment.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
8. Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in quality control, materials management, and construction planning.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
5. A thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
