Job Description

A Day in the life:

  • Lead revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including contract review, performance obligation identification, and transaction price allocation.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities related to revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled revenue
  • Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses with supporting documentation.
  • Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to revenue-related inquiries.
  • Maintain and improve revenue policies, procedures, and internal controls in
  • Drive process automation and scalability initiatives.
  • Assist in NetSuite implementation

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting4+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or SaaS experience preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Sage Intacct
  • NetSuite implementation experience is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups) and experience supporting process improvements
  • Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced business environmentAble to collaborate with cross-functional teams
