Description

Pay: $62.23/hr
Duration: 8-month contract
Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA

Overview

This role supports the New Product Introduction (NPI) Revenue team, focusing on validating data flows, revenue recognition outcomes, and financial impact during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new product launches. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and expertise in revenue recognition-particularly under ASC 606 for SaaS environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate end-to-end data flow, revenue results, and financial impact for new product UAT initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Order Fulfillment, IT, Project Management, and Sales Operations to support NPI efforts
  • Participate in recurring stakeholder meetings to interpret data, identify issues, and recommend solutions based on revenue expertise
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based templates, models, and formulas to support data analysis and validation
  • Apply professional judgment to revenue scenarios in alignment with ASC 606 standards
  • Analyze system outputs to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting during product launches
Required Qualifications
  • Strong systems proficiency with tools such as SAP and Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, data analysis, reconciliation)
  • Deep understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
  • Experience supporting SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) revenue models
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and interpret large datasets
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP analytical/reporting tools
  • Prior involvement in UAT testing or NPI (New Product Introduction) environments
