Embrace curiosity, seek progress, and challenge yourself to grow.Position SummaryThe Senior Rewinder is a highly skilled technician responsible for inspecting, disassembling, rewinding, reassembling, and testing a wide range of electromechanical equipment. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and experience in EASA-accredited environments.In addition to hands-on work, the Senior Rewinder serves as a mentor and quality leader, supporting team development and maintaining operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA standards.Complete and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) documentation and procedures.Perform precise rewinding of AC/DC motors, stators, armatures, coils, and other components.Operate and maintain specialized equipment for stripping, winding, burn-out, varnishing, and testing.Follow all technical procedures and company standards for rewinding and repair operations.Participate in ongoing professional development and cross-training programs.Mentor and train junior rewinders and apprentices.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace to support efficiency.Required QualificationsRWD 3 CertificationOSHA 30 CertificationERT (Emergency Response Team) CertificationAssociate Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical TechnologyMinimum 10 years of external electromechanical repair experienceMinimum 5 years in an EASA-accredited shop100% mechanical aptitude test scoreProficiency with computers for QA documentation, data entry, and diagnosticsPreferred SkillsMastery of motor rewinding techniques across multiple equipment types and manufacturersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional attention to detail and quality workmanshipEffective communication and teamwork skillsLeadership skills and commitment to mentoring others Why Join Northwest Electric?At Northwest Electric, you're more than a technician - you're part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and impact.
