Immediate need for a talented Senior Right of Way Specialist. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Denver, CO (Onsite). Key Responsibilities: Job Overview: - The Senior Right of Way Specialist will lead various projects in the facilitation of land acquisitions, negotiations, property research, titles and surveys includes leading permitting activities, construction coordination, and restoration on Right of Way projects in a variety of locations. Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling and establishing project objectives. Quality review Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses. Quality review real property related project documents. a Quality review Right of Way documents in the stakeholder management database. Quality review of stakeholder management database entries from Right of Way field agents. Present technical data to Right of Way project team and stakeholders. Prepare and submit permit applications for the project team. Prepare project status, technical, and acquisition reports for the project team and/or client management. Responsible for document preparation and control, meeting agendas and other various project related activities. Manage subcontractor relationship including, contracts, invoices and change orders. Present in public involvement meetings. Perform project planning, budgeting, scheduling activities and establishing critical project objectives within project parameters. Manage marketing efforts and identify key pursuits. Train and mentor staff. Responsible for overall QA/QC process adherence. Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies. Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all policies and standards Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Must Have Skills: -Must have minimum 8 years’ of professional experience with Right of Way, Land Acquisition and Permitting. Experience with reviewing easement, lease, property documents, land & ROW related agreements and strong understanding on Title work. Candidate should have experience within Energy Infrastructure, Construction/EPC or Oil & Gas, Electric Utility/T&D or Utility Consulting industries. Utilities experience preferred, not required. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field and 8 years Right of Way acquisition, relocation, and eminent domain experience, project management and/or real estate experience preferred OR Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement Required. Min HS + 12 yrs relevant exp OR Associates + 10 yrs relevant exp OR Bachelors + 8 yrs relevant exp. Ability to read and understand title and appraisal reports and land surveys. Demonstrated knowledge of general real estate law, understanding of real estate title work and ability to work as an effective team member. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Expert presentation skills and attention to detail with ability to multi-task. Experience with database system management and proficiency in the use of computer software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy. Valid driver's license Required. SR/WA designation Preferred OR Other certification from the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) Preferred OR Real Estate Broker Preferred or Sales License Preferred.
