Cimarron is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado. Key Duties: Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, including related policies, procedures, and controls. Identify and assess potential risks across the organization, considering both internal and external factors. Implement strategies to mitigate risks through avoidance, transfer, reduction, or acceptance. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls, and report exposures and trends to senior leadership. Advise executive leadership and government customers on risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate risk information and align on mitigation efforts. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with applicable standards and government requirements. Prepare and present risk reports to executive leadership and customers. Lead investigations of risk incidents and conduct root cause analyses. Oversee risk management staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. Participate in program meetings to understand terminology, constraints, goals, and stakeholder perspectives. Facilitate MDIOC Joint MDA/IRES RIO and IRES RIO meetings as part of the Program Review Board. Present program risk information at formal reviews. Keep IRES Program management informed of current MDA RIO policies and policy updates. Active Secret Clearance. 15 or more years of risk management experience. 3 or more years of experience in a senior or leadership position. Knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000). Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive risk-informed decision-making. Bachelor's degree. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: Professional certifications.
