The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risks, Issues, and Opportunity Analyst to support our program's risk management, issue resolution, and opportunity identification processes in Washington, DC.  As a Risk Management Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and assisting in the development of mitigation strategies and action plans. This role requires a deep understanding of Risk Management and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage risks, address issues efficiently, and capitalize on potential opportunities, contributing to overall success and resilience.
  • Analyze and track ongoing issues, providing regular updates and recommendations for resolution
  • Conduct regular risk assessments across the program to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Identify and evaluate potential opportunities for business growth, cost savings, or process improvements
  • Develop and maintain risk registers, issue logs, and opportunity trackers.
  • Assist in the creation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans for identified risks and issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to include industry and government stakeholders, to gather data and insights related to risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports on risk trends, issue status, and opportunity analysis to management and stakeholders
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of risk management and issue resolution processes
  • Contribute to the development of risk management policies and procedures
  • Assist in conducting post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation and issue resolution actions
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in risk management and opportunity analysis
  • Support the program's overall strategic planning process by providing insights on risks and opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering or Scientific discipline or preferred experience
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the Navy or Maritime Environment
  • Experience and familiarity with Risk Management in NAVSEA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies
  • Familiarity with project management principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Desired: 

  • Knowledge of the risk management lifecycle
  • Experience with risk management software
  • Professional certifications such as CRISC, PMP, or similar

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,200
