Impact Recruitment is currently searching for a highly motivated Senior Roadway Engineer to join a dynamic and highly technical team of planners, engineers, and technicians in the Port St. Lucie, Florida area.

As a roadway design engineer, you will lead design projects for a variety of clients in public and private industries. You will also have the opportunity to be part of cutting-edge design projects that utilize the latest technologies for delivering design services to clients.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Roadway design
  • Geometric layout
  • Erosion and sedimentation control
  • Traffic control design
  • Other related design tasks
  • Plan production and development of bid sets
  • Coordinating with other disciplines
  • Obtaining permits required from regulatory agencies
  • Interact and coordinate regularly with clients and sub consultants in the various assignments

What you need to have:
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 4+ years relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineering License required.
  • Projects with state, local, or federal agencies.
  • Demonstrated capabilities and success working on medium to large projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects.
  • Proven leadership, communication, mentoring and client liaison skills
  • Proficient with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil3D and GeoPAK.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
