We are seeking a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in industrial automation for a pivotal role in our company. The ideal candidate will have over five years of hands-on experience with ABB robotics and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent. Mastery of ABB RobotStudio and RAPID programming is essential, alongside proficiency in PLC programming (preferably Allen-Bradley or similar systems).
Responsibilities include designing, simulating, and testing robotic systems, solving complex integration and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring detailed documentation of all processes. You will also lead the initial setup and configuration of ABB robots, contribute to system optimization, and manage the full project lifecycle.
The role requires travel up to 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally, to support system installations and customer needs. The position is based on-site at our Waukesha, WI facility, with future projects offering diverse challenges and opportunities for innovation.
